Here's Narcissus 'Bilbo' just coming out.
-
That's a nice one Anthony. I don't really like the pinky ones but this has an attractive "set" to it. By which I mean that it is nicely displayed on its stem.
-
Fantastic 'Bilbo'! We finalli have caught up with the season in Europe. Here is N.calcicola looking gigantic in the picture, in fact a bit taller than a match box.
-
Great wee thing. Growing these miniatures is definitely hobbit forming. 8)

You're getting into bad hobbits Anthony.

Narcissus henriquesii is another small one. Stongly perfumed though.

Karl, how I wish I could have visited these beautiful narcissus meadows with you! I can only imagine how good the fragrance must have been! What a pleasure to see this, thank you!

And here in the Southern hemisphere the early winter ones are starting!
Here's what I got as narcissus cantabricus ssp foliosus:

They almost went unnoticed due to the encroachment of the Origanum "Kent Beauty" - which needs to be trimmed back!
cheers
