In front Sternvbergia greuteriana, in background S. sicula. Some botanists regard them as idrentical, but my eyes tell me - no!

lutea pots are just blooming in the greenhouse outside the last heavy rains have delayed the flowers.

This is shy flowering Sternbergia schubertii - a gift received from its rediscoverer Erich Pasche.

Thank you Maggi! Just now sunshine is as rare here as the flowers of Sternbergia schubertii  :)
