Hi all
I'm looking to make some Hypertufa rocks that can be used in a terracotta pan for a miniature garden.
I would only need a small quantity & wondered if anyone had a decent recipe to use.
Also
I would love to see anyone's miniature garden pans so I can get some inspiration & any advice would be very much appreciated ;)
Many Thanks
Nichola

Hi Nichola, Recipe usually given for hypertufa to make troughs or stones ..... 1 part peat:1 part sand:1 part Portland cement.
Many references in the forum from a search which may be of interest ..... some examples.....

Oh wow Maggi these are incredible :o
Thank you so much for all this fab information l. I have no doubt this is going to help me no end on my quest to make a miniature garden.
They are such fabulous features & I know they will require time & effort but that's what I'm loving about the whole Alpine world.

Something very appealing about a mini garden - it's an extension of the appeal of alpine plants in general, isn't it? Small is beautiful!
