Title: Croatian Lilium?
Post by: Tristan_He on July 20, 2019, 11:09:20 AM
Hi there, I'd be really grateful for an ID on this. It was photographed growing in woodland edge habitat in the Ucka National Park, Croatia at about 700m altitude. To me it looks like a Lilium, but all of the plants were quite slender - sadly no flowers. Leaves don't look like martagon and L. carniolicum is much more robust.

Thanks in advance!

Tristan

Thanks Herbert. I did wonder about these but was expecting them to be a bit more robust as well. But have never seen them in the wild.
