For the past four days we have had very strong winds, day and night, and although it has been warm (under 25C most days) I for one found it annoying! By this morning I'd had enough of it so we decided to go out and chose one of our regular haunts, Forde Abbey. It's around a 120 mile round trip but we hadn't visited for two years and there was every chance that it wouldn't be as windy... and it wasn't. The option of a late 'full english' at a farm shop on the way was a critical decision too!
First up in pictures are things that caught my eye in the Bog Garden (1-10)

I can remember picking strawberries there with my teenage daughter. We thought it would be fairer to weigh her before and after picking as she probably had more inside her than were in the punnets!

Lovely memory Tom.
