Busy times at Avon Bulbs with over 5000 pots of Snowdrops to be knocked out, counted and assessed over the next few weeks!!! These are just a few of the crates of pots in the shed at the moment. We hope to have our Dormant Snowdrop List ready end of July/early August and they should be on the website then - some tasty offerings being mentioned by Alan Street are GREEN LANTERN, LADY PUTTMANN, TREASURE ISLAND, MR TAYLOR, CELIA'S DOUBLE, YORK MINSTER, MOTHER GOOSE, PIECES OF EIGHT, MATT BISHOP, and many more no doubt!

News from Alan Street about the Avon resting snowdrops list.......
"Snowdrops in July.....our dormant list will be out very soon including many new selections such as Bumblebee, Dopey, Dryad Gold Charm, Federschwingen, Green Lantern, Hologram, Miss Prissy, Puffin, Rodmarton Arcturus, Streets Ahead, Susan Grimshaw, WindTurbine , Winklepicker and Golden Fleece amongst 200 more, our biggest list ever. Wait and see! "

"Dormant Snowdrops
Our dormant snowdrops are available to order Online again now. The bulbs will be sent out very soon.
Under the Snowdrop tab there is a spreadsheet of all the names and prices at the start of the season.
Uncertain as to whether there will be Snowdrop events held next spring or, if there are, whether we shall be able to cross the channel with CITES regulated plants so we feel that holding onto too many is certainly not a good idea ! As a result the list is longer than ever with about 200 varieties available (sometimes in only small numbers).
There are also three Collections pitched at different levels of snowdrop experience, they can only be offered till the one that we have in lowest numbers sells out, but they represent a substantial saving over buying the same bulbs individually."
