Title: Fritillaria oraniensis
Post by: chrissyboi on June 06, 2019, 10:13:05 PM
I have two pots of seeds of Fritillaria "oraniensis" gleaned from either our seed exchange, AGS or NARGS. So I had two packets of seeds, both with this name on the packet and both pots' labels have this name written on them by me. Problem is, according to the internet this species doesn't exist. I can find no mention at all. They have both started to germinate this week so it's fairly safe to assume the seeds are of the same species. I'm flummoxed, does anyone know whether this species exists? Help!

Strange that your web search engine didn't propose you an other spelling. Just try "Fritillaria oranensis" and you should have the information you are looking for. A nice species and you are lucky to have seedlings  :)
