Title: York Gate Garden, north of Leeds.
Post by: shelagh on May 19, 2019, 01:56:36 PM: There's a Noel Coward song 'I've been to a marvellous party', well we've been to a marvellous garden this week. York Gate in Adel north of Leeds. It's run by Perennial the charity that helps old gardeners so we thought we qualified. Its only an acre in size but split into several differently themed areas. I'll see if I can tempt you to go.

Post by: shelagh on May 19, 2019, 02:07:22 PM: Also to add to our enjoyment of the garden in the sales area working as a knowledgeable volunteer was Anne a lovely lady we met through the SRGC because she was involved in the Glasgow Show usually behind the scenes serving teas and cakes. She said she was a Leeds girl and had moved back.
