My new favourite plant
Penstemon richardsonii
-
It's a cracker Philip but are you sure it's richardsonii? I've just been looking at Bob Nold's book 'Penstemons' and he says "...a tall plant, almost three feet (90 cms.) in height...."

Hi David
Graham Nicholl's book says 8-32 inches. It seems to have the right characteristics,in that it hangs down and is very brittle and easily snapped.
The colour may not be dark enough, though.
Exchange seed,so I'm lucky it's not a form of hirsutus, like some of the others that germinated.
