Title: Paeonia in Sicily
Post by: ruweiss on April 22, 2019, 09:16:34 PM
A friend came back from Sicily where he found this white flowered Paeonia. Does anybody of
the experts know the name of this beautiful plant?

I think it could be Paeonia flavescens Rudi (it was named flavescens as the dried herbarium specimens looked yellow).
It is closely related to (and possibly synonymous with) P. mascula subsp. hellenica.
