Title: Galanthus Bertram Anderson
Post by: Gerry on April 26, 2008, 07:16:10 PM
I was given this a few years ago. It flowered the next spring, but nothing but leaves for the last few years. Its in a border about 18 inches from a box hedge. The site is mulched with leaves every year. The bulbs increase, but not to the point of overcrowding.

What am I doing wrong? all the other clones flower, no matter what.

could be that the hedge is using much of the available water. When the leaves yellow lift the bulbs and move them away from the hedge. When to make the hole add in some leaf mould.

thanks Mark. I thought that might be it; but I didn't know if this one might just be a poor 'doer' as a clone.
