Title: Rice????????????

It has appeared in our garden and appears to be thriving.
It stands around 1m tall and is producing three stems - all showing flowers/seeds.

Hi Johnny, I also think, it is Sorghum, here in Germany it is a relativ
new agriculture, similar mais to produce greenmass. It is more suitable for dry weather conditions!

Still tend to think it is more like rice?????

Ah, now that seems likely ! I'd thought the seeds looked a bit too big ... but now ......
