Title: Gentian id help required
Post by: ArdfearnAli on July 18, 2018, 12:36:36 PM
Hi there, I have a batch of gentians grown from seed as Gentiana angustifolia but they are wrongly named. Can anyone help identify the following. It seems familiar but I can't put a name to it.

Thanks

It might be Gentiana cruciata but I don't know other gentian from eastern Europe and China...

Same opinion with Yvain, could be cruciata but there are many other species in the Cruciata section.
Given that is flowering it can be checked in detail with Flora Europaea or something similar.

My G. cruciata is just starting to flower but even if I post one picture it won't make a big difference because is not possible to ID
most Gentiana species 100% after pictures.
