Does anyone know anywhere that one of the National Trust Gardens can obtain G. reginae-olgae in wholesale quantities for planting out?

In wholesale quantities ??!! That'll be a tall order.

That's what I thought. I couldn't help.

At one time Anglesey Abbey had enough to make a decent display over a few square metres on their winter walk but they're not there anymore; Botrytis did for them, I think. Reginae-olgae can be quite picky about where it will grow. I hope that they have tested the locale with a scattering of bulbs before ordering a large quantity - if indeed they can be obtained wholesale.

Alan - Perhaps Melvyn might have enough common ones for sale for a test go.
