Hi, just wondering if anyone knows of any nurseries that have rare and unusual Asarums for sale.
Thanks Dan

Edrom has several types. see http://www.edromnurseries.co.uk/home.asp
-
where are you situated?
-
maggi, we had a look at edrom and ad hoc yesterday at the bacup show and bought a few varieties, still looking for more though,
tony, we are situated very close to you in leyland, but willing to travel, so would appreciate any ideas,:D

What's a bacup show, or should that be backup? Ah, silly me, it must be Bacup? ::)
-
Rare plants has several, see http://rareplants.co.uk (http://rareplants.co.uk) though they are only dispatched until mid April, so you are in a hurry to order (this is mail order only). If you search for Asarum on their web page (instead of clicking on Asarum in the menu) you will find also the plants that are out of stock, with lots of amazing photos.

Got it in three, Anthony! The beautiful borough of Bacup.

I am struggling to see Bacup as beautiful but then I do live in Chorley.I suppose Cliff looks at them with a photographers eye. Dan I did not realise you live near me in equally beautiful Leyland.I have some you may be interested in swapping, send me an email if you are interested

As Diane and I agreed recently .....we really need a 'smiley' to symbolise IRONY.
...'beautiful Bacup'... :-X (possible symbol for irony)?
It has to be beautiful to me anyway, my darling Sue was born there!

Not sure if this is still newsworthy, but have you tried www.futureprimitiveplants.co.uk yet? They offer a small range of Asarum cultivars at affordable costs.
