Take a virtual tour. One or three alpines in there too!

I just hope you find buyers who really appreciate the wonderful property they are getting. Best of luck with the sale - and in your future home! :-*
-
Spoiled by at least one of the comments that followed the pictures though.
-
Thankfully not the sort of thing we get here though, David!
-
Cannot see a way at present of removing that post. Will keep on trying.
-
Very upsetting for you to have to suffer it, I feel for you. Too many plonkers around!
-
I have asked for the message to be removed. Can you still see it? I cannot see any of the comments now.

I can't see anything terribly bad in the comments now, it's imgur, so some trolling is probably to be expected... Your garden is lovely, best of luck with the sale; I know how hard it can be to leave everything behind!

The nasty comment seems to have gone, Eric! Now viewers can just concentrate on the lovely photos!
-
Thanks. I got them to remove it.
If I took everything with me that I would like to, we would need a garden just as big as this one.

I know this is an old thread, but I thought you might like to know that we finally managed to sell up and buy a bungalow. We have exchanged contracts and are due to move on March 18th.
-
Oh, that is great news, Eric! It's been a stressful time for you. Hope the move itself goes well and you will enjoy a long and happy life in your new home!

Congrats!
We get the impression from watching "Escape to the Country" that all British people have an ingrained aversion to single storeyed houses! One guy actually said he wouldn't feel safe in a ground floor bedroom!
As a physio I know the problems for older (and some not so old!) people getting up and down a flight of stairs, especially if they have any sort of knee problems. I mentioned this to an Occupational Therapist who had worked in the UK and she said a lot of her time was spent getting stair-lifts installed!
Best wishes for your move,
cheers

Thanks.
I will post a photo essay of the new garden once we are settled. From the aerial images and from our visits, it looks as if it will be a shady garden so a new experience for us. Woodland bulbs here we come!
It is not knees with us, by the way, it is backs and hips.
Don't talk to us about Escape to the Country. We have had dozens of viewers on that trip and they all took one look at the garden and the isolation of the property and fled.
-
Glad you have finally got it all sorted Eric.

This is what they are missing.
