Title: Unknown tree

A friend saw this tree flowering on a street in Bonn/Germany. The pic was made at march 12th.
I would be glad if someone is able to identify this rarity.

looks like Acer saccharinum

Thank you Francois - not as rare as I suspected - but I never saw the flowers!
