Three Hepaticas, got a first at Pershore last week. Spent this week in the cold (cold brrr) frame and now look at them.
-
Poor things!
-
All my cyclamen coum look like that even the ones under cover - it needs to warm up
-
I feel your pain Shelagh, I had very little in the first place for Loughborough and have even less now😭, let's hope things improve
-
Maybe I should change the heading to what a difference 2 weeks makes. Here are the same 3 Hepaticas picture taken this morning. The single pink and the Blue Sandan were both on the bench at Loughborough yesterday. Plants resilience always amazes me.
-
Looking terrific! Seems we humans could do with some plant-based improvements in our recovery capacity!
-
Definitely Maggi, although I find the sunshine helps a lot.
-
Too right, Shelagh! Nothing like a bit of sunshine on the bones to perk me up.
Poured all day yesterday - but dry and been quite bright today - so the snowdrops are opening up to enjoy the sun too. Getting colder and dull again now - very up and down weather - which is no fun at all.

Just to bring you up to date. Our grand daughter Isabella dead headed the pink Hepatica japonica today 180 flower heads.
-
Wow! Impressive number.
Ian says did the whole family have their shoes and socks off to keep count? ;D ;)
