Title: Fig Variety
Post by: johnall on March 03, 2018, 03:43:30 AM
This is a fig variety that I do not know, it may be a F. carica variety, or something else. Any ideas would be appreciated, I believe it is a very old variety.

John, this looks to me like Ficus palmata, or possibly a hybrid between palmata and carica. You might find some more information here:

Gordon, thank you for the reply. I will follow it up on the OurFigs board, which I did not know existed. It is very upright in growth habit, I am looking down the lines of Alma and Hamma as possible hybrids. Thanks again. John Allman
