Wonderful plants - thanks for the excellent photos.
-
Great show Mark - thanks for showing and congratulations on your "First" :D

Thanks. I think I'm due a bronze this year. I must be well beyond 10 firsts by now. I've sent an email to the Director of Shows, Jim McGregor.

What about the size of that Diapensia lapponica in pic no. 8 ? !! Never seen one like it! 8)

That's a giant all right Maggi. So you lifted your conifer Mark? That was courageous.
-
Lesley the conifers in the rockery are still in their original pots to keep them small. The two conifers that I lifted had remained root bound except to one root each. One had come over the pot and rooted and the other had a root that had gone out the bottom of the pot

I just phoned Jim McGregor to find out how many firsts I have accumulated. I had the feeling I must have been at bronze medal stage by now.
You are the first to know that I gained my bronze status at the Dublin show. ;D

Well done Mark. Onwards and upwards now, to silver and gold.
