Dear Friends,
The very talented Mr Cliff (Ranunculus) Booker has kindly contributed the great photos for the calendar of the International Rock Gardener this year - available to download and print - free!!

I am new here in the SRGC since november and I feel very well!
I wish all members and users  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2018
With great interest I look for the comming snowdropflowers and our Snowdrop-tour with Laade - Gartenreisen to Scotland from 16. till 22. february 2018, where I hope to meet many of the snowdrop-fans!

What a beautiful calendar. I'll see if I can find a place that can print it out for me. You guys have any new years resolutions? Mine is to get into photography a bit more in-depth.

Neil and Sue at Hartside  have a lot to be happy about this year ....  " So proud of our son Stuart & his fiancee Caroline who were rewarded for all their hard work with a Silver Gilt Medal from the RHS at Malvern"

 Thought folks  may be interested  in another "tweet" from Leonie Paterson at the RBGE -
 "Primula valentinana in Sherriff's Christmas card was named after this man - Pere Valentin who offered substantial support & assistance to collectors in China like Handel-Mazzetti who named the plant, & to George Forrest & his collectors - photo by Forrest @TheBotanics, Nov 1917."
