I have spent some time looking carefully on the internet and also in the LBS catalogue but no-one seems to make small deep plant pots.
There used to be a 7cm x 7cm pot which was 11 or 12 cm deep but this seems no longer to be available. Does anyone know of a source of suitable pots please ?

Try Avon bulbs under galanthus!

Steve Garvie told me where he gets some very good, small deep pots from that also have an excellent drainage grid at the bottom. They are sold particularly for palms. See them at:

The palm pots have been mentioned before, in this thread : http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?topic=5040.0 (http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?topic=5040.0)
The small size Ger was looking at that time for seemed a problem, but others were available from various sources.

Many thanks for the information about the 'palm' pots. These lookideal, even if a little pricey and have already been ordered.

for North American gardeners:
I buy 7 cm x 7 cm by 14 cm plastic pots which have this imprinted on the bottom:
CANADA TLC
However, I had no success googling for the company name. I will ask at the supplier when I buy some more.

Google ITML, they bought out Kord & also Dillen some time ago, TLC is one of their pot linse; then they were bought out by Myers/Akro Mills. We were told the deeps were discontinued about 16 months ago or at least remaining stock dried up here. in NS.

Suppliers fail to mention the pots are still being made but by another supplier, likely the original source. Just found our "discontinued" ones!

You may want to look at these one as well John; Peter Fuller uses them. I think I'll purchase some, would be great for Hepatica.
