Happy morning spent at the Blacksmiths Autumn Snowdrop Lecture.
Melvyn Jope gave an excellent lecture on Reginae-olgae, locations, types, expedition details and a wealth of useful information on growing and variation. My target list has certainly increased by one belter!
Plenty of great plants to be had, Melvyn was in heavy action.
Some old friends also there, the lovely Emma, complete with hat, so the season has definitely started.
Also great to see Mike and Anne Broadhurst, suppliers of first rate drops.
Finally, my haul of Melvyn's special cyclamen and a drop for me and some friends.
Great day all round.

Thanks for your trip report, Ingrid. An excellent day out and who could ask for more? A Jope lecture, more drops for the collection and good friends to catch up with, I hope you got cake, too!

When there are drops to be had, I always take some of my AT's favourite! No excuses! ;D ;D

Some old friends there.
Nice to see you too. You must say hello next time!
An interesting talk with a pleasant progress through the slow life in the Greek islands. Just a few pictures from the morning.
