Last week 90% of the mini conifers / witches brooms were photographed. There are a little 60, too much to upload here.
I put the pictures on youtube, in slide show. Then I can show them here.
These have been collected over the last 5 years. (that's also the age of my garden)
Most witches, brooms come from growers from the Czech Republic.

Juniperus horizontalis 'Blue Pygmy' is a very small juniper that grows only 1 cm or less every year.
Bought this spring at Vladimir Valenta, Czech Republic.
Place, the table trough with lots of sun. Can not tolerate clay soil.
The intention is that it grows on the edge over the years.
Now he is 8 cm in diameter

Cryptomeria japonica 'Tenzan'
This is one of the smallest known cultivars of the species. Grows 1 cm every year.
During the winter the leaf is bronze-red.
The RHS database contains this cultivar as 'Tenzan-sugi'. The opinions are divided. According to the ACS: The use of "sugi" with Cryptomeria cultivars is considered superfluous because "sugi" means "ceder" in Japanese language.
The name "Tenzan" does not appear in the Plant List.
I have this plant in two places in the garden. Both purchased in spring 2013. The one grows slightly faster than the other but the largest is about 15 cm in diameter.
The last three pictures are September, winter and summer.
