Title: Zephyranthes
Post by: Peter II on July 30, 2017, 09:35:38 AM
In 2012, I seeded seeds of Zephrianthes citrina (SRGC). Who can tell me what it really is? I suspect Habranthus tubispathus.

I suspect you're right, Peter.
Sadly it is the great impostor for a number of amarylllids!
cheers

Yes, I agree with Fermi, Habranthus tubispathus which used to be H. andersonii. Nice plant but I find it frustrating as it flowers a couple here then another one or two later and perhaps later again and never seems to make a good show. Still, if my oncocyclus irises did that I wouldn't be complaining. ;D
