Notwithstanding that it was Tuesday today (regular readers will be aware that being creatures of habit we always go out on Wednesdays) but both of us had thought it was Wednesday (are we loosing it!!) so we went to Wildside for the last opportunity this year.
A selection of pictures to follow but no time to name them, sorry.
For those who haven't managed to get to Wildside yet (and you should-indeed must) the garden is divided into three distinct sections to which I've given my own names. The Lower Garden is my favourite for Springtime although, as you will see, there is colour all year round. The Upper Garden is my favourite Summer garden and again there is something so whatever the season. And dividing both is the Pergola Garden and the only part of the garden that is flat.
So to start-The Pergola Garden very colourful in all parts with my favourite today the splendid Tree Lilies

Lovely photos of a talented and under appreciated gardener, my erythroniums
from him are stunning. It's lovely to see people's days out like this, thank you.
