Hi Amaryllid friends ,
here is flowering for the first time :
Proiphys cunninghamii ( Brisbane Lily )
I have received in year 2009 some seeds from a friendly person from Australia ,some have germinated and I grow up 6 seedlings – later I have shared those seedlings with a friend ( as insurance )
From my 3 seedlings have two survived my treatment and before some days I could see a flower stem comes ( maybe this plants like our tropical weather )
Enjoy

Hi Hans
Do you grow this in full sun as shown in your photos?
My small plant seems to prefer shady conditions?
-
Hi Rimmer ,
no - my pot is only for taking pictures in the sun
This pot is normal in a shady area ( beside Scadoxus ,Pamianthe ,Hymenocallis )
Good luck
