Title: Germinating seeds of Placea arzae
Post by: ollie on July 20, 2017, 02:39:35 AM
I was fortunate enough to obtain some seeds from one of esteemed members of this Chilean sp.  Although I have previously germinated seeds of  a number of other Chilean members of the Amaryllidaceae family, this one is new to me.  Any advice on sowing and germination would be appreciated.  I am in the southern hemisphere where it is currently a wet mid winter with over night lows of approx 5-8C and daytime highs of 13-15C but at least the days are getting longer.
