SRGC Website - major  update work in progress

Fred Admin  is engaged in major update  work on the SRGC websites - this includes a server change. While this work continues, which may take some time to complete, given the  complexities and  size of our sites, there may be  periods when  parts of the site and the  forum may be  offline and so inaccessible.  The  work being done will bring the Club's server right up to date and  will we hope, mean that the whole resource we curate here will be safeguarded for  some considerable time before another   major update is required.  It is the nature of the internet that ongoing work is required to keep  up with  changes and security needs and so on.

We would ask you for your understanding  during this  time.

 Kind regards,

 SRGC WebTeam

Tomorrow - 24th March - the SRGC Forum will be unavailable while updates are implemented.  It is hoped that this will not last more than one day  but we cannot be sure.

Great news

Fred has done most of the work moving the Forum over night so it is now fully operational again - other parts of the site have still to be moved so may become unavailable while they are being moved over to the new server.

Thank you Fred.

Please bear  in mind that some of our individual forum settings may have  returned to default settings after the update - you will be able to  reset them to your preferences  now.
