The ever popular SRGC Early Bulb Day will take place on 18th February 2017 - where there will be the usual display of plants in flower, sales tables and TWO talks from one of the Gothenburg wizards- Johan Nilson, no stranger to SRGC members.
All welcome to attend this fantastic day!

Some of the great plants being prepared by Sarah and Ali of Ardfearn to take to Dunblane tomorrow - they've also added some ericaceous beauties now - so all going well and they're looking forward to the Dunblane Day- except, perhaps, for their 4.45am alarm call, which may not be such fun !

Matt says " Johan's second talk has covered alpines all over the Gothenburg BG - from Dionysias to Shortias - as well as transporting us off to Bhutan, the Pontic Mountains in Turkey as well as the Rockies in Colorado."

Some crocus. I failed to catch the name of Ian Christie's impressively large pot ( I refer to his crocus and not his waistline!) or to photo it properly - fortunately others have done better

Nifty attempt to stay on the Westmuir Christmas card list, Stan, hope it works!
-
So, the nursery folk in attendance were Jacques Amand; Ardfearn; Hartside; Kevock and Rumbling Bridge - and that chap with the snowdrops, but I don't recognise him..... someone will help, I hope
No shortage of retail possibilities, eh?
