Title: repotting almost finished but
Post by: mark smyth on September 11, 2016, 02:21:32 PM
Repotting is almost finished here. Tired of getting shouted at for dirtying hand towels no matter how many times I was my hands 8-)

Two projects have fallen by the wayside.
1. kill all Geranium wallichianum that have seeded on to the rockery and taken over. Plant out snowdrops
2. buy two ton, or more, bags of soil for the new 5m x 1m north west facing semi shade bed. No sun until after 2pm

When repotting is finished I'll do the new improved south facing bed that used to have lines of Colchicums and Dactylorhiza. Black death killed all orchids except for Harold Esselmont. Going in will be peonies, Dahlias, gingers, Roscoeas, Arums, Galanthus, Colchicums .....

I've found that earplugs work wonders Mark, If you grow your hair long enough she'll never notice, barring that, a cap with ear flaps helps too. :P
