Title: Death of Paul Ingwersen of the famous nursery firm
Post by: Maggi Young on August 25, 2016, 02:40:32 PM
Many members will remember fondly the alpine nursery of W E Th Ingwersen which closed in 2008, and have known  both the late Will Ingwersen and also Paul Ingwersen - famous for  growing so many plants that have delighted members over so many years. It is with sadness we learn that Paul Ingwersen  who was also a  former President of the Horticultural Exhibitors' Association  passed away peacefully in his sleep  on 21st August.

We send our sincere condolences to his family at this time.

Ingwersens, though situated far away in the south of England, were regular exhibitors at Gardening Scotland - these photos are from the stand in Sandy Leven's report from the 2007 (http://www.srgc.org.uk/feature/sandyjuly2007/content.html) show ...
