Title: Irid ID please
Post by: Lesley Cox on August 04, 2016, 01:20:49 AM
I'm spending a miserable (weather) morning renaming photos from numbers to botanical names  but can't remember one name. It is a lovely, light blue iris relative, I think native to Australia and there are 3 or 4 of them. The letter C comes to mind but that may be the species name. Any ideas please?

Considered Orthrosanthus? There's an O. chimboracensis, from Central America.

Oh Rob, you are right of course and I think this is not the first time you have rescued me when my mind has gone blank. So thank you very much and I can now fill in the space in my naming process.
