Title: Some kind of asteraceae?

This one was found in the same general location and at the same time as the Armeria that I previously posted. Rocky, limestone hills. Coming up blank on this one.

Maybe Eriophyllum confertiflorum?
Were you on the west coast?

Sorry, it wasn't clear - this was found on the col de Vence in the French Riviera back country.

Probably an achillea then?

Eureka! I found it Achillea tomentosa. Thanks for the encouragement!
