far from the noise and fuss of the brexit, i hiked few days in the Pyrennees in search of the alpines treasures

the playground is the Eyne valley, for those who love plants it's a heaven on earth

I am enjoying the Pyrenees at the moment also, Yann - but from my chair- watching Le Tour de France!

I didn't take this option, but used my shoes to climb the 12 miles up to Spain  :P

The rhododendron cover the lower slopes
Dianthus are seen until 2000m

i was also lucky to see Adonis pyrenaica, only 5 plants found.

Indeed a flower heaven Yann! So many familiar species from Carpathians - I miss the mountains.
The image with the seed heads(Ranunculus) looks more like a Geum/Pulsatilla?

Beautiful, Yann! Both the valley and the flora.

(The last one, Potentilla nivalis must be an Alchemilla though?)

Yes Hoy, i'll rename the file. I'll post the potentilla may be tonight as I need to sort them
Gabriela : i corrected the label, a shame seeds were not mature
I'm now back in the Gard and collected seeds for the seedex under a 38°c in the garrigues  :P
