I've been asked to ID this plant found on 23rd June in Langstrothdale limestone country growing on moss covered rocks beside the R.Wharfe in Yorkshire. I can't find anything that matches in our floras. Can anyone help?

Myosoton aquaticum I reckon - by the fleshy stems/leaves - but there are too few petals!
Humph! Wondered about Stellaria holostea too - but that's not right either! :-\

Not two few petals, Myosoton have just very deep dissected petal, so, it looks to have 10.

Looks like a Linum to me. L. catharticum (fairy flax) perhaps?

PS nice spot Anne. We had a walk there a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately too early for most of the wildflowers.

Well done, Tristan - I think you're right !

Do you know, I looked at that and decided against it as it didn't look like the pics in our flora, but now I've looked at more photos on Google, I think you're right. Thank you!
