I purchased this plant recently from the local nursery. It was labelled with a generic "Sedum" label. It looks like a Saxifraga. Does anyone know if it is a Sedum and if so, which species it might be? I'd like to work out what size it will reach so that I know if it will remain small enough for a small trough. It might be difficult to identify without flowers but I thought I'd try! It's about 4" / 10 cm wide at the moment. ???

Sedum hirsutum looks like the plant shown on your picture. If yes, it will be perfect in a trough, as it doesn"t grow much higher than that.

Thanks Philippe. ;D

Definitely not a saxifraga. Looks like a sedum so trust Philippe for the name. :)
