Title: Primula id
Post by: Philippe on June 20, 2016, 08:34:16 PM
Me again with that beautiful Primula, said to be P.nivalis.
On some sacpes superimposed whorls of nodding flowers.
I think I'll find the right name-suggestion evident once written by somebody.
Except for some P.chionantha persuasion maybe, nothing else comes to my mind right now.
Ideas amongst Primula lovers?[attachimg=1]

Hello Philippe

I'm no Primula expert however I wonder whether you have considered Primula boreiocalliantha ?.

Cheers Dave.

This looks to be P. sinopurpurea. John Richards considers this a subspecies of P. chionantha. The Flora of China includes it within P. chionantha.
