Can anyone help me out please - I am trying to find out the names of a low lichen or moss looking ground plant for troughs - when you press them they spring back but they look like a pad of stone or rock as it spreads - I cannot even remember where I saw them last - I have seen them at RHS in London before now though - can anyone help me please with name and photo so I can confirm this is what I am actually hunting

Raoulia, perhaps? The grey colour of some does give them the appearance of stone,
cheers

Scleranthus biflorus or S. uniflorus (Google images will produce numerous results)

Thank you so much - I will now go shopping ;D they are both what I have seen and will do brilliantly in the troughs

Good kiwi plants, both of them. ;D
