Title: Please Help Identify this Plant
Post by: JffNnd on May 16, 2016, 01:59:19 PM: Hello, I am having a difficult time identifying this plant. If anyone has an idea on what family or genus this plant belongs, please comment/reply to this post. I really need your help, this is for my Botany/Taxonomy project and this is essential for us to pass. The closest that I've gotten for this plant are Saintpaulinia, and Viola only. Post by: JffNnd on May 16, 2016, 02:08:31 PM: Yes Ma'am, this plant was collected in Miagao, Iloilo, Philippines. The most distinguishing characteristic of this plant is its leaves with leaves. It is a creeper and happens to have an alternate arrangement of leaves.

I have sent the question to someone at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, who is particularly studying Cyrtandra - if she returns with an answer I will post it here.
