Post by: Margaret on February 03, 2016, 02:48:18 PM

Please can anyone tell me why these Narcissus bulbicodium leaves are turning yellow?

Possibly a problem with the roots - too wet? Alternatively, some of mine do the same for no apparent reason!

This should perhaps be part of natural selection also. Some germinate and grow, others die quickly. The survivors will be better suited to your growing conditions ...

Hello Anne, You might be right about the pots being too wet. They are outside and we seem to have rain most days. I'll move them into a cold greenhouse on the allotment.

Hello Cfred72, I am fairly new to alpine plants having been tempted by the lovely plants seen here and on Ian's Bulb Log. Afraid I'm always pushing the boundaries trying to grow plants which are not ideally suited to my conditions. Mad, I know, but I'm addicted.

Thank you to both.
