Our friends in the Flemish Rock Garden Club (VRV) will have their first seminar of 2016 on 30th January in Ghent. http://www.vrvforum.be/ (http://www.vrvforum.be/)
On January 30, 2016 the first VRV seminar will be at the University Botanical Garden Ghent, Charles Louis Ledeganckstraat 35, 9000 Ghent, in auditorium 5 .
Three VRV members will give presentations on some very fascinating plant genera. Father and son Callens speak on : "The Discreet Charm of Paris and Podophyllum" .
Matthias Fouquaert will put a few species from the giant genus Primula in the spotlight. In addition, he will address propagation and culture of Pp. auricula, marginata and allionii.
After these two richly illustrated talks the mega-raffle will follow and finally everyone present is treated to snack and a drink at the already become traditional New Year reception. All welcome - too it would be wrong to miss out!
