Fermi,
I am trying to get a reading on how much you are irrigating parts of your garden by the other plants I see. My guess from this photograph is that there is some irrigation during the summer but not a lot. Your input would be most helpful to me.

Hi Robert,
I try not to irrigate this part of the garden because of dormant bulbs, however we had had some summer rain recently and I think that may've triggered these into flower

Fermi,
Acis autumnalis does not go dormant if I keep it watered during the summer, however it seems happier if I keep them summer dry. Thank you for the information. It is helpful to me.

Two leucojum in flower with me, the first is l. vernum var carpathicum, a first for me, great little plant. The second one is l. aestivum subsp pulchellum, always a welcome site at this time of year.
