Title: Not Straffan
Post by: Janette on February 19, 2008, 01:26:25 PM
I noticed this in my pot of Straffan. Maybe I should pot it singly? Janette

Hi Janette

I would pot it separately - I think it is always worth doing so.  It may not do the same next year - but at least in it's own pot you will remember to keep an eye out for it in 2009.  To me, it definately looks a different shape to the others.

regards

John

Thanks John. Several of the others have one or two inners without markings or very reduced marks. This one however is smaller in height and with no trace of green at all. I will repot it. Janette

hopefully it is not virus?  Do the leaves look healthy?

I only ask as I have had a problem this year with virus and have had to clear out quite a few plants.  It has been showing as irregular stripes in the leaves and loss / fading of inner marks.

Trying to have a closer look at foliage in Janette's pic.... Can you take another of the leaves, Janette.... I am suspicious about what looks like blotchy streaks..... ??? :-\ Hope it is just trick of the light.

Hi maggi. Have just taken a picture of the leaves. They all look normal. Janette
