Hi.
Back yesterday from a 2 weeks trek in Madagascar. Unfortunately it is too early for seeds as the flowering has just started but I found a Clematis which I think is C. falciformis http://plantgenera.org/ILLUSTRATIONS_HD/52856.jpg (http://plantgenera.org/ILLUSTRATIONS_HD/52856.jpg) with some ripe seeds.
If anybody is interested I have a few to give away (maybe 5 portions - PM me). Collected at 1500m near Pic Boby (Andringitra Mnts). I don't know the hardiness though.

Welcome home, Trond! :)
That is an attractive plant - in my ignorance I did not know of any Clematis in Madagascar!

Thanks Maggi!
In fact it is quite a few species in Africa including Madagascar. Grey-Wilson mention some in his book of the genus but not this (at least not under that name which should be valid though).
It was many plants in bloom and with some variation in flower size and form.

Hi, Trond, do you have any seed left of this cutie? I'd be interested in some if you do.
Thank you,

Hello Jan!
You are lucky, the last one goes to you :)
PM me your address, please.

First leaves on one seedling today ! :D
-
How nice!
I got one yesterday.

So did you put your pot outside to germinate or is it in a warm and cozy place inside? Mine is outside but it hasn't been freezing outside.

My pot is indoors with others needing 20° C to germinate, like codonopsis ;)

I had my pot in a cool room in the basement for some weeks and then put it on the window-sill in the kitchen.
5 seedlings are up now, but only one at a time.

Still only one here ;)
