It was very nice to meet you Gerard!
Never expected to see so many people at your first Gala!
Good luck for the next Gala's!
Pict. one: Gerard Oud
Pict. two: Gerard in business.

It was also very nice meeting you Luit. We had about a 1000 visitors today, also because of the incredible good weather. For next year it will be a weekend.

Gerard, how wonderful that you had so many visitors.
I have a request, however..... by next year, you really must have a sweater with nice snowdrops on ! Your one with snowflakes is good, but snowdrops would be better for business, don't you think?? ;)
-
I will ask my mum to knit one, i know she can. I didn't know they were snowflake's, it was the only clean sweater left after week working.
-
Here a photo were Luit and i are talking about snowdrop's and the forum, and not to forget my son Sam who grows 3 different species of snowdrops. You will never start early enough!
-
I am pleased to see Luit looking so well.
Welcome, Sam, to the mad but happy world of flowers!!

Ah Maggi, to use Lesley's words we might call it resurrection maybe ?? :D :D :D

Morning Gerard!
Great to see your son keen on bulbs, too! How old is Sam?
-
Good evening Thomas,
He is almost 8 years old and already recognizes single ones from double ones from a distance.
-
Here are some pics from the event and the view we had from the window.

Gerard, keep his interest warm. Maybe one day he will search for special Galanthus with my son
who also has a good eye for different plants. He found a green-spottet-outer-petal before I saw
it in a local garden center (9 years).
-
It is very nice seeing him already explaining the difference between single and double to people who didn't even know there are also double galanthusses.
-
Missed this thread. Looks like you had a great day and great weather.

Everything was 100% Mark, i hope this will repeat next year.
