Title: Ashwood nurseries
Post by: ichristie on October 21, 2015, 02:24:45 PM: Hello Ann and had a slight detour on our way home from Harlow ended up at Ashwood Nurseries where we had a super morning with John and friends bright sunshine a perfect dat. I will post some pictures from Johns Garden, cheers Ian the Christie kind

I assume you meant Harrogate Ian. Still an odd way to get back to Scotland though ??? ;D

The enormous range of color in Lewisias is enough to produce envy in an American. The first photo was taken in the owner's garden (Lewisia 'Carousel hybrids).

Post by: ichristie on October 22, 2015, 09:01:35 PM: Wonderful pictures of Lewisias this was one of the first plants I bought at Ashwoods some 30 years ago such a show sorry to say never had time to look around the nursery one thing though John is selling his 2016 calendar which has stunning images no idea if he sends mail order what an excuse to visit, cheers Ian the Christie kind
