Hello, please could anybody identify this indoor bulb.

Looks like Cyrtanthus elatus, once known as the Vallota Lily,

Often known as Scarborough lily here in the UK. Not sure why?

Wasn't it one of the "ship wreck" lilies? The bulbs washed ashore (according to the mythology, could easily have been brought ashore the normal way) and taken by the locals to grow as "their own" - I've no idea how far Scarborough is from the coast though! I think the same story is told about Nerine sarniensis - "The Guernsey Lily"!

My immediate reaction was Cyrtanthus elata too.
