Just come back from a weekend break in the Lakes, and my first visit to Holehird gardens and definitely not my last. Beautifully maintained gardens, a mass of colour, very well labelled and in fantastic surroundings. Just a few pictures of the tufa house ( for full gallery please see lawrencepeetalpines.com)

Thanks for those Lawrence (your link doesn't seem to act as an hyperlink though?). I've had Holehird on my ever lengthening list of places I must see ever since Shelagh (or was it Cliff Booker?) showed some pictures a couple of years ago.
