Attached some pictures of Campanulas which flowered during the last weeks:
C. seraglio from Mt. Sarigol in Northeastern Turkey, related to C.betulifolia,
troegerae and choruhensis.
C.fragilis, the form with hairless leaves.
C."Joe Elliot" a hybrid named after the famous plantsman who raised the
seedling, a hybrid from C.morettiana x raineri.
C." Maje Blyth", a beautiful baby of NZ forumist Lesley Cox. I t became rather rare
in our region and I was happy when I got a rooted cutting from a garden friend to
replace my lost plants.
All these plants are really worth a place in any collection of alpine plants.
